The prices below apply to the Group Classes and Private Lessons taught by independent instructor Darrell Dieringer.
Private Lessons
Pricing beginning January 2013
Single-Lesson a la carte: $75
Five-Lesson Package: $350
Ten-Lesson Package: $650
booking multi-hour lesson blocks,
ask about the Twenty-Pack.
Private Lessons are 55-minutes long. Two people may attend Private Lessons. Private Lessons are by appointment only. To receive these prices, plan to book your lessons about one week apart. Competition students may book lessons more frequently. If booking lessons infrequently or at the last minute, the a la carte price applies.
Cancellation Fee
Cancellation Fee: $30
Private lesson appointments may be rescheduled at no cost with at least 24 hours of notice. The cancellation fee applies when less than 24 hours of notice is given and you wish to reschedule the appointment.
Appointments may not be rescheduled if you fail to arrive for your appointment and do not call in advance. (ie. no-show)
Specials
Darrell honors the published pricing appearing in Specials for the Wedding Special and the New Dancer Special.
Group Classes
Enrollment in advance is required. The description for each class includes tuition, requirements, and other details. ( Calendar | Group Classes )
Teaching at Your Event
For ballroom dance organizations and similar clubs: $80/hour
For one-time events or special occasions: starting at $100/hour
Time is billed for each full or fractional 30 minute interval with a minimum of one hour. Travel time is additional for events outside of Madison, WI. In-home dance lessons are available only in unusual circumstances.
Private Group Classes
One-Time Event (unlimited attendance): $125/hr
Recurring Classes: $25/session + $10/person/session
(ie, six weeks for ten people = $750)
Private Group Classes are 55-minutes long. Your instructor will arrange a location for the class to meet. For Recurring Classes, you must book a minimum of six sessions (approximately one week apart). All participants must attend and provide payment at the first session. A minimum of six participants are required. No late enrollment, no credit for absences, no substitutions. Please see the Policies. Private Group Classes are by appointment only.
