The studio offers Group Classes in many styles of partner dancing. Group Classes are fantastic for learning to partner dance while at the same time meeting a variety of people and expanding your social network. Many classes expect no previous dance experience - look for “Beginning” or “All-Level” in the class title.

The studio’s classes meet on the same day of the week and at the same time of day for a pre-planned number of weeks. Each class is either sixty-minutes or seventy-five-minutes long.

Register in advance to attend each class in the series. You may register on the first night of class or at any time prior to the first night of class. Contact the Studio to confirm availability of space in the class. Advanced registration is encouraged.

Lots of people enjoy dance lessons, from many age groups and occupations. High school students, college students, trades people, office workers, business owners, single people, engaged couples, married people, people with children, people with dance backgrounds, people who have never been to a dance lesson, retirees, and senior citizens all attend classes at the studio.

No partner is ever required for Group Classes. Frequent partner changes happen in all classes. Even if you enroll with a partner, you are encouraged to change partners during class. Not only will you develop your skills as a dancer more quickly, but you may avoid some unpleasant conflicts with your partner. See Changing Partners.

Dancers are encouraged to learn whichever part they feel most comfortable dancing - the terms “lead” and “follow” do not imply “man” and “woman.” In fact, dancers who learn both parts and develop both skills improve their dancing very quickly.

No long-term contracts or commitments are required at the studio. Come alone or with a friend!
