Sarah and I have devoted a lot of time and energy to preparing for the competition. Our routines are fun and challenging and get better and better every time we run them.

However, in the spirit of setting ourselves up for the greatest possibility of success, we have decided to postpone our professional debut until a time when we are less constrained by external obligations. It has been stressful to close the studio, for instance, and to negotiate new arrangements for teaching and practicing.

Thank you everyone for your continued support and encouragement. You will see the two of us compete - absolutely! We will both be attending the competition in Chicago (see the event on facebook.com).

I encourage anyone who is even just a little bit currious to attend and see what a large professional competition is like!

Please leave a comment if you are currious about attending the competition.

With enough interested parties (and with enough logistical help), we may have a separate Friday delegation that will be there for the Rising Star portion of the comp, and a Saturday delegation that arrives for the Open Professional portion.

I would love to see everyone come with us on Friday to cheer for us during Rising Star and to spend the daytime on Saturday watching the Amateur and Pro/Am events.
