AoD Outing: Belvidere Social Dance

7-8pm: Group dance lesson

Admission:
– $6 (USA Dance members)
– $8 (non-members)
– $2 (students)

Doors for the 4th Saturday dance open at 6:45 PM with the lesson starting at 7:00 PM. This December, Art of Dance’s owner, Darrell Dieringer, will be teaching a Rumba lesson at 7:00! The 4th Saturday dance is held every month. In addition we have one or two dance mixers as part of the evenings schedule.

Due to a construction at the Belvidere Community Center, the USA Dance 4th Saturday dance is moving, (for several months, most likely). They have been able to arrange the use of the Northeast Branch of the YMCA in Loves Park. It is located just north of Rockford, and near the Indoor Sports Center off of Riverside Ave. It only takes about an hour & fifteen minutes to get there from Madison, and it is well worth the journey!

I have been to the dance in Belvidere many times and enjoy it for not only its beautiful venue but for the energy, enthusiasm, and welcoming environment provided by the many people who attend. I usually expect to see over 100 people at the dance!

Please carefully note the location of this event. The usual location for the Belvidere dance is being renovated. This is a different location than the usual location. Please plan your driving accordingly.
