The social dance includes several mixers and a showcase by the instructor, Darrell Dieringer.

Belvidere is only a few tolls into IL, just past the familiar “Belvidere Oasis” freeway overpass convenience station. It only takes about an hour & fifteen minutes to get there from Madison, and it is well worth the journey!

I have been to the dance in Belvidere many times and enjoy it for not only its beautiful venue but for the energy, enthusiasm, and welcoming environment provided by the many people who attend. I usually expect to see over 100 people at the dance!

I am seeking volunteers to perform during the 15 minute showcase in the middle of the dance. In the past, performers get in for free!

We will carpool from a convenient downtown location (near Kanopy dance), meeting promptly at 5:00pm on Saturday, 22 November 2008. Please post a comment below if you can drive or if you need a ride. Passengers, please bring gas money for the drivers.
