Eight Weeks of 75-Minute Classes
Offered by: the Art of Dance Ballroom Dance Studio

This class is intended for people new to partner dancing or new to Salsa dancing and will move at an appropriate pace. Experienced dancers are encouraged to enroll and refine your basics!

In this 75-minute class meeting each week for eight weeks you will discover how to produce many of the common dance moves you see at nightclubs where people dance Salsa.

Improve your own balance and learn to recognize how each partner influences the balance of the other. Develop an understanding of how you move your own body and how those movements are felt and interpreted by your partner. (Applies to leads and follows alike.) Build the fundamentals for leading and following well. Exercise those fundamentals to invent your own moves!

You do not need to enroll with a partner. Expect frequent partner changes and numerous group activities and exercises.

Darrell, I just wanted to write you a quick note to tell you how much I have enjoyed taking dance lessons with you. For years, I had wanted to learn to dance salsa. When I saw your flyer for Latin Lunch, I thought I should give it a try. Am I ever glad I did!

Not only have I learned to dance salsa, but I’ve had a fabulous time doing so. Your classes are fun, creative, and always leave me feeling uplifted. You have greated a wonderful environment for learning to dance that attracts many wonderful people. I have made many friends in your classes and go out dancing with them regularly. I have rediscovered the joys of social dancing.

Darrell, I would highly recommend your classes to anyone who wants to learn to dance and have fun in the process.
