8-11pm: Social Dance
Admission:

The social dance includes several mixers and a showcase by the instructor, Darrell Dieringer.
Belvidere is only a few tolls into IL, just past the familiar “Belvidere Oasis” freeway overpass convenience station.
I have been to the dance in Belvidere many times and enjoy it for not only its beautiful venue but for the energy, enthusiasm, and welcoming environment provided by the many people who attend. I usually expect to see over 100 people at the dance!
I am seeking volunteers to perform during the 15 minute showcase in the middle of the dance. In the past, performers get in for free!
We will carpool from the studio, meeting promptly at 5:00pm on Saturday, 28 April 2007. Please post a comment below if you can drive or if you need a ride. Passengers, please bring gas money for the drivers.
To participate in any available carpool, caravan, or other accommodations (if offered), you must register in advance. RSVP to Road Trips.
Though this event appears on the studio's website / calendar, we may know nothing about the event itself. The event is listed here as a convenience for those interested in going out to dance. Please contact the event organizer or the venue where the event is held to confirm location, directions, times, dates, cost, and all other details.

The performers did very well. Devin and I danced our Cha Cha routine from WI State. Ashley and I danced our Bolero routine, complete with an “added at the last minute” new trick and lift. Mark and Erika danced their Rumba routine from the Appleton competition.
The crowd of over 100 people loved it, and we even have video to prove it! Lots of cheering and an alltogether great time.
