Doors for at 6:45 PM with the lesson starting at 7:00 PM. (I don’t know what the lesson is this month.) The 4th Saturday dance is held every month. In addition we have one or two dance mixers as part of the evenings schedule.
Our carpool meets at the Stoughton Road Park and Ride at Stoughton Road and the Beltline in Madison at 5:30pm sharp. We will take as many vehicles as we need to accommodate everyone, leaving the rest of the vehicles at the park and ride. Please bring gas money for drivers.
Due to construction at the Belvidere Community Center, the USA Dance 4th Saturday dance is moving, (for several months). They have arranged the use of the Northeast Branch of the YMCA in Loves Park. It is located just north of Rockford, and near the Indoor Sports Center off of Riverside Ave. It only takes about an hour & fifteen minutes to get there from Madison, and it is well worth the journey!
I have been to the dance in Belvidere many times and enjoy it for not only its beautiful venue but for the energy, enthusiasm, and welcoming environment provided by the many people who attend. I usually expect to see over 100 people at the dance!
